Rehoboth Lodge on Bethel Estate was developed from 2002. The Lodge was developed in conjunction with the main house, and Meerkat Lodge which remains part of the setting overlooking the Maluti Mountains and wide open countryside.
Martin hails from Somerset in the United Kingdom and is a business man involved in the Mining Industry throughout Africa.
Linda, an Accountant, now running the lodges, was raised in Camperdown, Natal and moved to Johannesburg, where they later met and married.
They have four children, and three grandchildren, who are scattered throughout South Africa and often come to the Lodge for a visit.
Their desire to move back to the countryside, where their roots were formed, has driven them to look for the most perfect of places to settle for their retirement. Their energy and drive will ensure that Rehoboth and Meerkat Lodge’s history will be maintained for many years to come.
